Lake Königssee

About one hiking hour away from St. Bartholomä, you can find the so-called “ice chapel” at the foot of the Watzmann, a huge perennial tube of ice. Though you shouldn’t enter due to the risk of falling ice, it does look fascinating from the outside.

Hiking at lake Königssee
